Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory

In March 2019, Congress Medical Foundation opened a new state-of-the-art Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory dedicated to the research and education of Orthopaedic Biomechanics, which is the study of human joints using mechanical principles. The overall objective for the research laboratory is the improvement of patient care based on scientific evidence.
Congress Medical Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the advancement of orthopaedic medicine through research, education, and public outreach of the Congress Orthopaedic Associates.

The efforts of the foundation’s board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeons and world-renowned scientists include pioneering the latest breakthroughs in the field of orthopaedics and developing advanced surgical strategies to improve patients’ quality of life. The foundation provides a unique set of resources and infrastructure for this ongoing research and education.
